Typical combinations are PP with TPE, ABS with TPU, and PC with silicone, selected by bond strength and feel: TPE and TPU for soft-touch grips and seals, silicone where heat and chemical resistance matter. Compatibility of the two materials is confirmed per project.
Two-colour work adds a second process chain after moulding where the part requires it: painting, laser etching, printing, PVD and UV, with assembly completing the part. Bond tests and trial parts confirm adhesion and appearance before the mould is accepted.
